Spring in Downtown Somerville brings a fresh lineup of events, outdoor activity, and community energy.

The season kicks off on April 26 with Puppy Paw-looza, celebrating Downtown’s dog-friendly spirit with vendors, demonstrations, and family-friendly fun. In May, Girls Night Out with this year’s theme – Hollywood Glitz & Glamour – on May 14 invites visitors to shop, dine, and enjoy special experiences throughout the district. The return of Cruise Nights and the Summer Stage Concert Series in late May adds classic cars and live music to the streets, creating a lively atmosphere each week. All season long, Downtown Somerville’s shops, restaurants, and public spaces make it easy to enjoy everything from outdoor dining to a simple stroll downtown.

Whether attending a major event or simply enjoying a sunny day downtown, there’s ALWAYS something happening every week this spring.

Transit

Transit’s Raritan Valley Line stops just one block from downtown at the Somerville train station, and several NJ Transit buses serve the area.
